The End is Near!

I've got 9 days, six concerts, and 5000+ grades to check - but I can see the finish line!

How are you doing with all that comes as we wrap up the school year?

Here are some of the things I'm using to keep things going, manage the unexpected, and maintain a consistent culture in my classroom.

Need to review? My kids always love BINGO! Grab the Note Values Bingo Game or the Dynamics Bingo Game for an easy review game that lasts about 15-20 minutes. Need something that covers more material? Try the "jeopardy" style game, "Music Mania" to review solfege, note values, dynamics, and treble clef notes.

What about behavior? If your students are anything like mine, there are a few that are READY to be done with school. We're all barely holding it together, right? I use this Behavior Reflection Sheet all through the year, but it definitely makes more appearances in the last two weeks of the school year. AND.....sometimes students just need some time to work alone and regroup, right? These two writing assignments have been super helpful for that. Music in Sports (FREE!) and Music in Entertainment.
